Jagex Games Studio, the Cambridge based studio famed for the incredibly successful RuneScape, will today launch their latest project, a Massively Multiplayer Online Real-Time Strategy (MMORTS) game, War of Legends. Developed by a team in Shanghai, Ultizen, War of Legends marks Jagex’s debut as a publisher of other studios’ projects.

War of Legends is the new free-to-play MMORTS game based on famous Chinese mythology. Players will build cities, collect resources, and manage their armies to conquer their enemies. Living out the ancient story, players pledge their support to either the reigning Emperor Zhou or his contender Sheng, before building up wealthy cities and experienced armies to gain supremacy in battle.

As players build their empires they are encouraged to form multiplayer alliances with others around the world to raid together and reach eternal glory and secure their place inhistory. The game features a persistent world which continues even when players are logged-off to allow their armies to gain in strength and resources which will await them upon their return.

I don't really like the idea of signing in with a RuneScape account/password, it simply seems like a publicity stunt by Jagex to attract people to RuneScape as well as this game.

This game is actually sort've decent, I've enjoyed it thus far however it may be slightly confusing for one who hasn't played this type of game.
