Too bad some people get it for other reasons, like back in the day people would get addy gloves and end up with 13- 15 def and since thats useless, they would just go on and get 20 for mystics and initiate

Not really bro. Besides if you go in your ghostly and I am in my mystic I am gonna hit more and u are gonna splash more. Bonuses help in P2P in F2P its ok but P2P bonuses are great. + I got def because I wanted to for the armour and bonuses.

I'd say it helps most in minis when it's only like 10v10. In run ins it's not really a contributing factor when only 5-10 people of the 50+ have 20 defense.
