Wow is more successful then Runescape is, and catches more people's attention.

 

If I had to choose Wow over rs I would go with Wow.

WoW isn't completely dependent on how much gold/geepeeees you have unlike RS.

 

Though, I find RS's PVP system is alot more strategical and structured. In WoW, you just basically choose a class that hasn't been nerfed and use the most overpowered weapons/armour you can find.

 

However, WoW's endgame and PVE/PVM is far beyond what RS has.

 

It all comes down to preference really. Would you rather play a game that's more competitive with great PVP, or would you play one that's more team oriented and has a much stronger PVE/PVM.

 

Both are great, but I prefer RS due to the extremely frequent updates, portability (You can play it on just about any computer and operating system), PVP and that it's subscription fee is cheaper than WoW's.

Wow makes people go crazy runescape does also.

wow has better stuff than runescape and makes 30times more than runescape.

 

runescape only makes 9000 a month= 300wow

close, i played them both and got max lvls on both.

 

I preferd WoW, but thats because i had like 7 irl mates all playign with me.... RS old wildy = best thing ever... now... WoW is better in everyway :/ apart from clans/communities

I tried wow, and pretty much the only way to leve is questing, pretty hard to try to kill monsters non stop.Runescape is still my home game to play..WoW was fun at 1st but i lost attraction once i got to lvl 30. Thats my opinion and i think runescape is more unique and funner :].

WoW is more time consuming because you cant afk it at all. Say what you like, but i have played both a lot and WoW takes up way more time.

 

And in WoW it matters so much more if you get behind your mates by a few levels, or even quest chains. You will have to play on ur own to catch up :/ which imo always sucked.

 

PVP.... which is why i play all games tbh. The old RS wildy was 10x better then anything else i have played.... the reason is the feeling you get when you first risk a whip, or whatever. Back then buying and selling GP was so common, and mills were once £5ish. So a whip you would be risking £15+. The emotions felt like you were gambling in a casino rather than playing a video game. WoW pvp is just a game, you die, you res, you lose no items, no wealth, no time, no disapointment.
