Could it work?

Over the years of playing runescape i have seen people at the library playing RS. Now about 80% of them are new surface players who know nothing about clanning or pures. So the question is could it be more effective to target local library players regarded as Noobs in game and turn them into clan members of your clan? What would the advantages/disadvantages be in doing this method? What do you think of IRL recruting?

U know you're dedicated when you're doing this lol :P I used to know a guy that would go to the library and install a keylogger then he would come back a few days later and have free rs accounts lol

If they're new surface players who know nothing about clanning/pures - what would be the point of recruiting them? :X

 

It would take them months (Well, depending on the clan) to get the requirements whereas you can recruit a larger number of people in a shorter amount of time through other means of advertisement (On the internet).

 

After all, this is RuneScape we're talking about, you're not recruiting for the military.

Learning anything Hands on is the best way to excel. By knowing somebody irl and showing them how things work would be a complete difference than virtual training.

Well it makes scense, we can recruit them and talk them into it, I don't know how effective it will be, but we can introduce these new players to Purewarfare and train them up a bit.
