To me South Park is by far the best one. I mean if we're going to do a list its this:

After that its all crap.

 

South Park is an extremely intelligent show. It's culturally pervasive and a lot of the messages are pretty well-done and poignant. Family Guy has never added to the culture ever and its pure shock factor. South Park (contrary to popular belief) actually has a bit of substance and wit to it. I actually don't like the Kanye type episodes as much as I do the episodes where the boys are just boys. For instance the Lord of the Rings episode... gold. Or even the political statements like Manbearpig or the Beaver one.

 

The Simpsons is genius. If you don't like it your retarded or you havent watched any of the good seasons. (Season 6-12 were REALLY good) It is so witty and really clean. I'd say this is the family show.

 

Family Guy is awful. Yes are there really funny moments? Of course there is. But c'mon its the same episode over and over. There is no heart and soul to this show, there is no intelligence, there is no substance. I could go on and on about this show but there's a reason that 90% of the shows viewers are 13-25 year olds, there's a reason all critics hate this show, there's a reason that this show has no Emmys or Emmy nominations I believe.

There was a time when the Simpsons were #1 to me, but lately the show has gotten terrible. They're running out of ideas.

 

South Park has consistenly been awesome. I agree with kosher, there is some intelligence to the show that many people miss. Just like how there used to be intelligence to each simpsons episode (storylines were far more clever, morals fit in perfectly, and the characters were depeloped very well).

 

Overall, I'd rate #1 Southpark, #2 Simpsons, #3 fam guy. Each show has given me some good laughs over the years- so I still like each one in a diff way : )

I like south park the most since it's humorous and every episode is original. I rarely watch the Simpsons, but the few episodes that I have watched lately, it's obvious that they are sort of running out of ideas. I also don't find The Simpsons very entertaining. Family guy USED to be extremely good, now it is major suckage.

South Park has a very clever sense of humor. There's a lot of things people miss when watching it, which is why they don't fully understand it.

 

Family Guy is also humorous, but can be immature sometimes.
