what keeps a clan from closing?

if you look at all the clans that have been made from the beginning, then the clans that were made in the middle, and the clans that are being made now, you see that its pretty much the exact same clans.

 

what makes them stay alive?

Dedicated staff, motivated members, and loyal people overall. EOP has been in a few slumps, some which people never thought we'd ever come out of again, which is another reason to motivate yourself not to close a clan. All the haters that thought EOP was gonna die, or wanted to see us close, made me even more motivated to prove them wrong and make a comeback, which is another factor why we are still here today, even though I hate RS with a passion.

It's not about dedication or any of that **** for me. It's about having fun. If you're having fun day after day, week after week, and so on why would you want to close the clan you're in.

gotta be willing to be dedicated and get through a slump

You can't have the type of leadership that will give up in a slump, you would also need to keep active with Prep's, Mini's, Trip's Etc to keep your clan alive.

it would be if most of a server (ie. "world") wasnt level 80 =/ its probably the same time and effort as hitting 138 for runescape but its a lot more funner and between the levels of 70-80 your heavily addicted (i found anyways)
