Grand Exchange Lookup

Well, I've been messing around with various functions with PHP. I've managed to create a GE lookup.

 

What this does, is if the item is not in our database, it will grab the data directly from RuneScape, then store the data for quick and easy access. You can update the records manually so that item prices are kept up to date. I will most likely create a cron job to carry out a mass item update daily.

 

I also have other plans for this lookup, ones that will allow you to track items, and find out which are on the rise, to help the merchanters out there. But that's all in due time, this system took me about 2 days to make from scratch.

 

 

If you want to help out, just search for different items to populate the database, at the moment we have around 600 records, however, there are thousands of items in the game. Searching for generalised items, such as "dragon" also works.

 

This is only a BETA release, I'll be adding styling and everything later. If you come across any bugs, please report them.

 

Please be warned, the grabbing of the data does take a while, around 30 seconds if you search for dragon. (Doesn't take that long now since the items are in the database, but for the first search it did)
