Describe what you think the "Pure Attitude" is, what do you think most pures attitudes are like? What description defines the way pures are?

The Pure attitude is exactly the same as the "main attitude" as most pures once had a main.

 

Otherwise their attitude is dictated by that of who they hang around most, be it their clan, team or other friends.

 

Only stereotype of pures i remember is that they are arrogant, which can be the case as you get 12 year olds who see a pk video, make a lvl 60 with like 60 att 70 str 8 defence and think they tear **** up and start talking ****. I remember a video by Skychi, where he talks about what he hates about runescape and pures attitudes being one of em.

To me, the "pure attitude" (if there is such a thing) is arrogance and presumptuousness. Generally these traits characterize youthfulness or immaturity. But then again, you have to remind yourself that this game is marketed towards a younger crowd.

Back in 05, pures were cocky as all hell. There were tons of level 70-80 mains pking and they just used to get ripped to shreds by pures. Pures knew that no one but other pures could defeat them in the wilderness. The pluss of having a pure was that they hardly ever lost in combat, they were quick to make and very profitable/fun.

 

Now though pures are a less common, with the invention of the tank and introduction of lunar magic, hand cannons, new prayers etc. As well as less low level mains pking due to it being too easy to train combat. Having a low defence level is not a advantage any more, it's a disadvantage. As such now I think we are just abit sheltered and have a underdog mentality.

 

In the old days we used to hunt low level main clans and destroy them, now we sit in low level wilderness and have the same fights with the same people week in, week out. Pure clans are becoming extinct people, one more benefit to having 40+ defence could put the nail in the coffin for us little defenceless pures.... Sad times.

Pure attitude, for me I say that there is more than one attitude.

 

Some Pures think they are the best and flame everyone when they can be easily defeated.

 

 

Other pures it it slow, don't flame and don't hate on anyone.

I remember me and this one pure were having a flame war a few years back then a main popped and was like "you both suck lol" Then me and the kid started team flaming the main and owning him. After that me and the kid became friends and owned in the wildy.

I agree with Jack (awsome post btw :P) and Anthoni I agree with you too, cockyness hasn't left the table, there will always be drama/action/******** with the pure community as it is what keeps clans to survive in this community. People tell me without the flame/trolling/fight after fight with other clans, then the pure clan world will be dead. And I can sort of see that now.

I think the pure attitude is unjustified arrogance, in my opinion. Pures tend to think that because they are using heavily disadvantaged accounts that this makes their account better than a more logical account build. Adding to this problem are the mains watching pure pk vids and being like damn they own and creating their own pures and emulating the ****** attitudes they believe pures have. You know, the pures who will be zerkers with cb braces by the time they're 80 cb. Mains interact with these pures and they give a bad representation of the pure community. Just my two cents.
