We?ve recently released the RuneScape Game Bar, which is a toolbar for your web browser that gives you up to date RuneScape information. It includes a news feed, your Grand Exchange offers and notifications for repeatable content including things like Tears of Guthix and Bork.

I like it, unfortunately you can't add toolbars yet.. Hopefully they add that.

Not going to use this at all, but I have noticed that Jagex has really been intent on catching up to all of the fansites. Rather different from their usual strategy of not interacting at all with the user-base. It's nice that they have a step in the right direction for the benefit of all, but many already use SwiftKit or IRC GE Bot.

It shows you all of your geupdates, how many have bought/sold so you don't have to leave what you're doing or log on. You can just open your browser and check :P

i heard some ones going to hack it soon since, mozilla firefox took it down from the homepage or something or the type of userbar

I have been working on integrating the new functions with a SwiftKit and it simply enough a few line of JavaScript and the entire thing could be implemented on Chrome or any other webclient. You can trace the packets to see that all the data is being feed by a xml feed just like the Adventure log.

Would be useful for farm runs. But sucks for those closet scapers like myself who don't want people knowing I play, so having a runescape tool bar on my browser would kind of give that away :@
